Somethings afoot…Haunted Phone booths and barnage

The occasional jaunt to the countryside reaps great rewards which the usual ’sploration masses do not find. One such example is a set of old English phone booths which some old coot has chained to his tractor out in the middle of a farmers field. Although there were right by the road, while we drove around looking for these gems, none of the locals seemed to anything about the booths we seeked.

We stopped an old lady who said she had lived here for 30 years and she said he had never heard such an outlandish idea before. We pressed on against all odds and found our booths just 100 yards away from where we were doubted.

A few questions however haunted me… Perhaps these booths appeared for a select few…? Would be need to dawn tabi snow -shoes to infiltrate these suckers..? Would they be haunted..? Would they allow us to travel back in time like Bill and Ted did so we could have an excellent adventure?

Inside the lusciousness…

My stomach churned with anxious mania as we approached from the road. You have to understand that these were old English booths must have teleported here to the middle of nowhere. How else could they get here?

Most Definitely haunted….

We suited up (me with my hawt pants, and jannx with his woofy overalls) and we got right down to business.

Many of the booths were filled with great trinkets so we were left unable to ’splore them fully. We did press our noses and cameras right up to the glass and documented the ass off them putting the famous octane documentation tactic to work. We walked around these puppies and it was much more difficult then I had thought to shoot them because they were covered with about 7 feet of snow.

I believe I was the lucky one on this journey because I got haunted negatives back not of ORBZ (where are these paranormal investigators when you need them?) but of trains! Trains & fire seemed to intersect my images.

Perhaps this was a sign? Indeed!

Exhausted and spent from our adventure we trudged back to the truck and plotted some more. We were right in the nexus of haunted barns and houses, so we had to pick a virgin barn to ’splore. Driving around we found one on the verge of collapse. It was the sheer will power of the orbz which kept this love shack from imploding on its own. We scouted and reecked and crept until we decided just to make a dash from the road into the haunted barn. You never quite know where those motion detectors or cameras are so u hope for the best.

We used the cover of the sunset to sneak in undetected and we set up for good times. I cannot really call it a whole barn as it had a wall missing and the back section looked like jenga game that was about to topple over. Forget everything you learned in physics class, this sucker leans both left and right defying all logic. We pressed on and documented this great find for all those unlucky enough to be around. The barn had two levels, and one piece of ambiguous machinery. The orbz did not make an appearance, but it was a find of monumental proportions. I will provide inaccurate coordinated for those who ask. Sites like this need to be saved from the over-intrepid ’splorers, and the trolls who would pilfer the site and leave footprints and prized access points on various online message boards for all too see.

This is 4 da hardcorz peeps, if you find the phone booths, you will be rewarded in finding yourself in the haunted barn triangle of clarington county — the nuclear power station is not ALL that is dope around here. Hopefully the Durham Police won’t shut this down….itz 2 dope

My apologies to the person I took this from. Found on a Detroit forum.

This isn’t a unique occurrence. There’s a field with about 25 of those same phone booths somewhere around here. I drive past them all the time. I can’t recall what side road it is, but I’m pretty sure it’s somewhere on the border of caledon and king township.

They are a bit more interesting than lawn gnomes at least.
